Call of the Wild

Call of the Wild

Posted by Mys Lyke Meeh on Friday, August 21, 2009 Under: Animals On Land

Pretty sure, you've seen them (You may noticed I used "her/him"pronoun-instead of "it". I would like to think that they are part of this universe too, alive and kicking (not just another kinda of thing) . When I took a visit at the Toronto Zoo, they seemed so excited to see me. Well..., it was me who was very much excited to see them. I couldn't stop clicking my camera, they were so lovable. If I could come inside and hug them (Yah--,they're going to eat me- lolzzz!) "Here comes the long-lost relative of ours", that was the messaged they sent to me when I made my grand entrance.

(lolzzz)

The Camel (With a Vow)

Matchie's Tree Kangaroo ( he ate something when i took this)

he was sleeping but i sneaked in....

Santa's Reindeer (on the loose from Santa's grip)

Przewalski's Horse (The Mongolian wild horse),

is the only wild horse in existence today.

Until recently, this species roamed the mountains

and deserts of Central Asia- but has not been seen in

the wild since 1968.

Just give him Banana, he seems fine with that!

The Zebra's (At last, I've seen it in person)

when i took him a picture, he was doing acrobatics

move. He was doing it to impress (I guessed..)

Friendly Girraffe.... (Loved this one with a white dove)

He peed like a falls (as in..really!)goshh..

the camel looks so weird, I think there are only a few pf those kind of camels......am I ayt?

Mys Lyke Meeh said...

Pusang-gala: Oh yeah--there were two types of it, the one with one humps(called dromendary) and the other the picture I posted here got two humps. I have a picture of the one hump camel too bt too tired to post it (lol...)!- one humped camel can be found in the Arabian deserts, while the two humped camel is an Asiatic animal.

Good thing you never said Niagara Falls! LOL

By the way, beware of their faeces too! It's HUGE! And sometimes fly quite a distance, especially if they are having some bowel discomfort.

Hmmm... never knew there are such animals like the tree kangaroo... interesting... do they hop around too?

One Other ... said...

The oarfish looks scary! Enjoyable article, I didn’t realise any fish could ‘walk’ either, thanks for the research.

I think you can learn so much from Kids encyclopaedias and they are so much easier to understand and so beautifully illustrated.
